Judith Exavier

Dominican police arrested the head of the Haitian consulate in Santiago, Judith Exavier, on Saturday at the Haitian-Dominican border at Jimani/Malpasse. She was aboard a white Lexus sports utility vehicle, registered G-353903, which was cited in a U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) warrant.

Consul Exavier was not able to provide registration information for the vehicle that she was traveling in and was arrested. She was questioned by the Dominican secret services, as well.

According to reports, the car is owned by a well-known figure named José Bernabé Quiterio, alias, Nino. He is alleged to be a member of a money laundering network of fugitive drug trafficker César Emilio Peralta, alias, The Abuser. News reports suggest that César El Abusador, himself, used the vehicle to operate in the the Dominican Republic.

Judith Exavier is said to be a “mistress” of Senator Rony Celestin (PHTK – Centre). She was kept in custody for hours then released on bail.
