Sogener

Sogener is one many electricity firms in Haiti that’s producing and selling electricity to the haitian government. What makes the case of sogener alarming for Haitians home and abroad. Is the fact the the CEO Dimitry vorbe  is using a power plant owed by the Haiti’s government. The original lease signed under president Rene Preval was supposed to be for five years. But it got extended for 13 years although no one seems to know who signed the extension. To make matters worse the amount of money that the Haiti’s government is paying sogener and a lot of these other firms is reportedly More then 450 mil line is dollars a year. Enough for the government to bulid its own plants or other wind, gas or solar plants.
